Hidden River Group is a different kind of consulting firm. We founded this organization with specific principles in mind:
-
We want to grapple with tough, messy problems. It requires us to push ourselves, constantly improve, and always be outside our comfort zones. If it’s easy, we ask our clients to call someone else.
-
We’re not chasing margins, we’re chasing impact. While other consultancies might think a lot about reducing risk – or ensuring they aren’t having a negative impact on the world – we constantly think about the people and causes we are helping. If we can’t confidently say our work will make the world a better place, we turn it down.
-
We started as a handful of parents who wanted to do important work (and also be good parents). While not everyone at HRG has children, everyone has something else in their lives they want to make room for. We scope and structure our work to be 40-50 hour work weeks. We don’t believe you have to sacrifice your life to impact the world.
-
We attract people who are driven not just by the amazing work we tackle but also by their own entrepreneurial drive. They’re motivated to build something great, something distinctive. They want to learn, develop, and grow every day in that process.
